Customs
Hey. First of all, thanks for the quick processing. I was a bit disappointed when I received the item, as I still had to pay over 27 in customs fees. I wasn't informed of this at the time of purchase, and it made the delivery 30% more expensive. The value of the goods is no longer in proportion. I've bought from you before, but on eBay. I didn't have to make this payment then. Why? I don't know if I can afford to buy again under these circumstances. It's a shame.

Hi Gerd. We state on our site that the buyer is responsible for any customs charges to import into their own country. Regrettably we have no control over a foreign countries customs policy and we cannot keep up with the continual changes. It appears to be totally random if a parcel is charged at customs, and happens with both ebay and web. In fact you are the first web buyer that this has happened to (that we know of). It would appear that the worse chances of being charged these fees is if you live in Germany or Belguim. As stated it is totally random, most parcels you will not get charged, some you will. I guess it is down to the individual who is processing the parcel at German customs. As you say, its a shame. If this starts to become more common, we will have no choice but to stop selling to Germany.
